Description
KIDSTEPS is a division of SARAH, Inc. Since its founding in 1957, SARAH has become a leading provider of support services and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Connecticut. KIDSTEPS is comprised of two distinct programs: 1.Birth to Three - an early intervention, state-approved program of services for children that addresses any identified developmental delays and disabilities. 2.Family and Childrens Center - provides support services for families and children birth through twelve years old. The KIDSTEPS Birth to Three (B23) program early intervention services are provided by certified therapists and teachers and take place at the childs home, daycare or within the community. If you have a concern about your child, please call Info Line (1-800-505-7000) to make a referral for a free B23 evaluation and make sure to request the KIDSTEPS program. We will call you to set up a convenient day/time for your childs evaluation. The KIDSTEPS Family and Childrens Center (FCC) provides services to families who are concerned about their childs social, emotional and/or physical development, as well as their educational success. The FCC distributes a brochure of classes being offered on a quarterly basis. To join the email distribution for the brochure, or for more information, please contact the FCC Admin. Coordinator at 203-318-3692, ext. 2.
