The initiative of Holy Spirit for after-hours school care is a parish program crafted for students whose parents require childcare outside typical school hours. Open for students from Pre-K to grade 7 at Holy Spirit School, our mission is to ensure the provision of a secure, monitored, nourishing environment that will enable the students to build stronger friendships and have lots of fun in the process!

All staff members at the after-school program are diligently recruited by Holy Spirit School. Measures are taken to ensure safety by conducting background checks and making the completion of Safe Environment Training compulsory. All staff members also undertake First Aid and CPR training.

The program's activities include:
- Snack-time
- Initiatives in creative arts
- Encouraging homework time
- As well as sports, games and outdoor activities.
- We organize planned activities and ensure screen time is limited to promote interactive learning.
- We believe in giving the children freedom within secured parameters.

The After School Care program operates out of the Main School Building. However, occasionally, the After School Care House located at 3308 Richard Ave is used. The students make full use of the available facilities such as playgrounds, gym and dining commons. When needed, PreK students use the preschool classrooms.
