Happy Panda Family Childcare is a small licensed family childcare home situated in the lovely coastal community of San Pedro. Children are treated here as unique individuals who grow and develop at their own pace.

My program aims to provide a nurturing and secure environment for your child to have fun, strengthen social skills, use their imaginations, and tackle developmental milestones.

The daily schedule provides structure and is designed to reflect a balanced curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of the children and their respective age groups, exercising their bodies, as well as their minds. Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are also provided to nourish our little loved ones. For children who have not begun to eat solids or who are just starting to eat them, I provide formula and pureed foods. I will also be more than happy to accommodate the needs of breastfeeding babies. Proper nutrition and a safe food supply are important to me. I pride myself in striving to provide organic and/or hormone free meals as much as possible. Rest assured that I only serve milk products are rbst free and eggs that are free of antibiotics and hormones.

I am also very conscientiousness of the impact that our physical environment has on our children. This is why my childcare home also strives to be a green home. Whenever possible, I clean with non-toxic formulations that are just as effective as their conventional counterparts. Space in my program is limited due to my desire to keep the group small. This is so that each child can benefit from the kind of attentiveness that encourages them to blossom and bloom where they are planted. Paying attention to our children is to value them as the special human beings they are. It is truly one of the best things we can do for our them. As the owner and director of Happy Panda Family Childcare, I have a lot to offer your child. I am a mother and a former kindergarten teacher with seven years worth of experience in the classroom. The greatest compliment that anyone ever paid me as a teacher was to tell me that I taught from my heart. That is also how I like to see myself as a childcare provider. I derive great joy from working with children and find the work to be very rewarding.
